Every shift, mile and receipt in one private logbook
LOGmyGIG is a record keeper for 1099 drivers, couriers and freelancers. It lives on your phone, encrypted, with no account and no ads. It also shows what to set aside for taxes.
Android first. iPhone is planned. Screenshots show sample data.
Your day, drawn as a line
Start work and the clock runs. Pay, expenses and trips you add land on the line as stops, so the day reads in order instead of as a pile of numbers.
What it keeps
- Work time
- Start and stop a shift, pause for personal time, and add time by hand when you forgot.
- Miles
- Enter odometer readings, or turn on GPS to measure distance while a shift runs. Only the total miles are saved, never your route.
- Earnings
- Log pay and cash tips by platform. Uber and Lyft tax summaries and DoorDash statements import from PDF.
- Receipts
- Photograph a receipt. The text is read on your phone, and you confirm every value before it saves.
- 1099 forms
- Keep each 1099 with its PDF. A scanned or imported 1099 pre-fills the fields.
- Reports
- Export PDF, CSV or Excel reports, and a year-end tax package for your preparer.
A set-aside number you can check
LOGmyGIG estimates self-employment tax, federal income tax and state income tax from the records you keep. It tracks your quarterly payments and previews your Schedule C. Rates and brackets come from IRS and state revenue department publications.
These are estimates for planning, not tax advice. They leave out things like credits and itemized deductions. Check them with a tax professional before you pay or file.
Your records stay on your phone
Encrypted on the device.
The database is encrypted and its key sits in your phone's secure keystore.
No account.
We have no server that receives your records, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing of yours to breach on our side.
No ads, trackers or bank login.
LOGmyGIG never asks for your gig-app passwords and never scrapes platform websites.
A lock if you want one.
Fingerprint, face or a PIN, with automatic locking.
One exception: on Android, Google's text reader (ML Kit) sends Google basic diagnostics when you scan a receipt. It never includes your images or their text.
One plan: $2 a month or $20 a year
Every feature is included, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Billing runs through Google Play, so we never see your card. If you stop subscribing, everything you logged stays viewable, editable, exportable and deletable. Only adding new records pauses.
Prices shown are for the United States. Google Play decides trial eligibility.
Questions people ask
Is this tax advice?
No. LOGmyGIG keeps records and shows estimates. It does not file returns or replace a tax professional.
Where is my data?
On your phone, in an encrypted database. We do not receive your records. You can export a backup, and "Delete all LOGmyGIG data on this phone" erases everything.
What if I lose my phone?
Records live only on the device, so make backups with the export feature. Receipt and document images are not inside the backup file; keep them in an exported tax package.
Which apps can it import from?
It reads Uber and Lyft tax summaries and DoorDash statements as PDF, and imports CSV and Excel files. Any other platform works with manual entry.
Does it connect to my bank?
No. There is no bank connection.
Is it on iPhone?
Not yet. Android comes first. Email support@logmygig.com if you want to hear when iPhone is ready.
When can I get it?
It is in testing on Google Play. Email support@logmygig.com to ask for early access.
